luna de miel

Did you know that honeymoon is translated into "luna de miel" in Spanish?
The literal translation is moon of honey. I like it because I love both words. Luna + miel.

I've found myself a bit irritated, a bit tired, and a bit annoyed of everything lately.
(No it's not that time of month...) I think it's because the honeymoon phase has passed.
The ethereal 5 week honeymoon phase I had with Mexico City, with my internship, with new people...

and now reality hits.

I know that no one can fill the void that I feel right now.
It's just a matter of time - and once I get over this post-honeymoon anti-glow, things will be okay.
Or just more clear.

Today I read a quote by Samuel Lover:

"Come live in my heart, and pay no rent."
